What is the number one asset I feel someone can bring to a team? Someone, like me, who believes in building relationships.
I think building relationships whether that be in the workplace, personal life or within the community is the cornerstone of being able to have open and honest communication.
One of my top strengths according to Gallup is Relationship Building and being an Includer. An Includer is someone exceptionally talented in accepting others, and they show awareness of those who feel left out and make an effort to include them. My team members would always tease me that I would be the first person to introduce myself to the newcomer.
In the two years I have been attending school board meetings I have met parents on both sides of issues I have stood on, and I felt we were able to have open and honest conversations. I listen to hear, not to respond.
If I win your vote in November, know I will be there for ALL parents, guardians, students, taxpayers and staff. My door will always be open.
Just like my home is the house the kids want to hang at, I want to be the go to for your questions and concerns to help continue to make our district one of the best in the state.
